Advice has been pretty good already.... :thup:
Just to add the Apex International hotel on the Grassmarket is a fine place to hole up for a weekend. Not sure of it's prices nowadays but they are usually reasonable and the location is excellent. A fine rooftop restaurant as well with excellent views of the Castle.
As well as Haymarket, Newington is a fine central area for accommodation - plenty decent hotels and B&Bs all competing with each other for price. |
