Point three, if you're calling for video replays to be used in football then you need doing away with. I might deem goalline decisions to be acceptable but it just wouldn't work as the game doesn't stop if it's not a goal.

Point four is also ridiculous considering the whole game of Rugby is centred around beating the crap out of eachother. You can't exactly dive in a rugby match so why would the players do it anyway? If there was as much advantage to be gained by diving in rugby as there is in football than you'd see Chabal turning into Drogba overnight.
You can always let the play finish and wait for the next dead ball. Would be better than the ref not counting a goal that went in knowing how hard it is to score them

For point 4, players should get suspended after the game when you can see on video that they obviously dove. Then you wouldn't see quite as many players diving </BLOCKQUOTE>

And what about if the other team go and score a goal at the other end. The idea of a passage of play being totally wiped off and discarded is ridiculous. Although tbf I think with goalline decisions, it's just a case of a chip being put into the ball so that's a different issue as it will be instant and I won't have too many problems with it. It's when people say we should bring video replays into the game for every decision or even penalty decisions that things go wrong. Football is not a stop-start sport and to make it one would be awful.

Your point regarding the diving is good though.

I don't have a problem with a play being canceled if by the rules it shouldn't have happened anyway which is the case if the ball actually passed the goal line.
I agree that a chip in the ball would be much better though. This could also work for offsides if players had a chip in their chingards, shoes or jerseys.

It wouldn't be ridiculous because if the goal was rightfully given, the goal at the other end would never have happened.

i'm not sure if there are that many people who want to keep mcclaren and robinson really. i think most people think the manager, the keeper and the amount of passion are all inadequate and they're probably right.

If the players had more passion, maybe there would have been some tries
