| You can always let the play finish and wait for the next dead ball. Would be better than the ref not counting a goal that went in knowing how hard it is to score them
For point 4, players should get suspended after the game when you can see on video that they obviously dove. Then you wouldn't see quite as many players diving

i know we're all going for this passion is for morons thing and it's really sweet to see otf united and stuff but passion is actually a good attribute and it probably is one that's missing from the england football team

Passion is just a way of saying "significantly lacking in talent compared to the opposition, but trying hard is good enough for me." And yes, I do want my team to perform well. Intangibles will never win anything on their own.
