He's worth $18bn which with the plummeting value of the dollar is a little less than £9bn. Besides he will probably say St. Mary's isn't a good enough stadium and demand that a new stadium be built with local taxes. Plus he will probably put them into crippling debt anyway.

Billionaire entrepreneur Paul Allen has denied a report that he has expressed interest in buying the Saints, an English soccer team.
According to a report from British newspaper the Southern Daily Echo, Allen has made a preliminary offer to purchase the Southhampton FC Saints.
"To my knowledge there's no truth to that rumor," said Michael Nank, spokesman for Vulcan, Allen's investment firm.
The Southampton Football Club is owned by Southhampton Leisure Holdings PLC, which is traded on the London Stock Exchange.
"There has been an approach, but it's very a preliminary stage and we're not releasing names," said Jonathan Knight, director of Seymour Pierce, by telephone this morning. Seymour Pierce is the investment bank working with the owners of the soccer team.
The Saints were in the English Premier League for 27 years but were recently relegated to a lower division.
Allen, the co-founder of Microsoft, also owns the Seattle Seahawks football team and the Portland Trailblazers basketball team.
