Seem to remember there was a problem with Star Wars Galaxies a few back from when I worked at Special Reserve. We received a batch of 10 copies and every single one came back. We informed head office and it appeared that every copy that the company had been sent were already registered and that we were to either offer customers a refund or exchange for another item.

We received a memo from Lucas Arts via head office stating that there was a problem and wasn't just with out batch of games, and that the problem would be resolved. It took something like a month before we received another delivery of the game, in the meantime we were frequently getting customers asking about the game.

So really you should be allowed to get a refund, and to add to the first bit I mentioned every game we sold was pre-sealed and we had to put dummy cases out on the shelf.

went to the shop and explained, they were quite understanding and gave me new codes. however they dont seem to work either. ffs.

Well, they've sold you something that doesn't work. The codes are part of the package.
