Looking into the abyss: Besiktas vs Liverpool *spoilers*
On wednesday, 19:45, some sky channel.
No-one else seems bothered to do the thread, so i'll just have to.
After a draw away to Porto and a terrible home defeat to Marseille, Liverpool have a 'must win' game away in Turkey.
The good news is that Xabi Alonso is back in the squad, but Fernando Torres will not play. Daniel Agger is also still out.
So what sort of a side will we put out? Obviously it won't be unchanged from the derby, I expect to see Crouch come in for Voronin. Gerrard's been a moody little c**t so expect to see him in the middle with Alonso or possibly Mascherano if the game's still a bit too soon for XA, Pennant on the right and Benayoun on the left.
I've got a really bad feeling about the CL group, but a win is essential... So let's hope we go over there and do a good job, spurred on by a glorious victory over Everton.

Least Rafa can't say he wants to rotate to save the players from tiring if Liverpool go out of the champions league so it might help us in the premiership if we go out.
