In honor of a new page, and an attempt to beat last year's 8 pages before the season premiere, list your top 5 episodes of the last season.


1. Man of Science, Man of Faith (E01) - this was the first episode I ever saw, and I became hooked instantly.

2. ? (E21) - another Eko flashback, but the discovery of another hatch was unexpected

3. Lockedown (E17) - the blast door map was one of the best moments of the season for the wtf factor

4. Live Together, Die Alone (E23-24) - The return of Desmond and so many other great things

5. The 23rd Psalm (E10) - The first Eko flashback, which remains one of my favorite flashback stories so far

1. Man of Science. From the somewhat bizarre opening sequence to the unfolding events in the hatch, became very clear that stuff might actually happen in this series. Although they did manage to drag out the ending cliffhanger for about three episodes. And it was really obvious that it was gonna be Desmond in the hatch.

2. The Other 48 Days. The episode was sort of a necessary evil, needing to fill us in on who all these new characters were and what they'd been up to, without giving us too much of their pre-island backstory. Again the fast pace made a refreshing change, although it was a pain in the arse that they squeezed it in between cliffhangers again (the Shannon shooting).

3. Lockdown. (I'm not just copying you, seriously...) There've been loads of brilliant button-related moments, although the best actually was probably the one where Locke almost let it run down and all the crazy symbols started appearing, that was pretty freaky - but the blast door map tops it.

4. Live Together... Absolute aces, actually did tie up a lot of loose ends (e.g. the reveal when Des tracked down the missed button-push which crashed the plane), left a bunch of characters unaccounted for, and gave us our first real-time glimpse at life off the island.

5. The Long Con. Toss-up between this and What Kate Did, as the relevant characters' best backstory so far. Still didn't really understand the "evil Charlie" thing, he's been a bit of a non-entity this series and that moment came at a time when he was sort of swinging back towards trying to get into Claire's good books.

Anyway, hopes for next series? Mine is a first episode scrap between Sun, Jin, Bernard and Rose, preferably with no survivors
