don't think he was that awful, obviously he has a learning curve to being a manager and Bolton looked as if they might have provided him that but now decided not to. Suppose the turning point is this latest rumour of him falling out with Gary Speed and wanting to send him to Sheff Utd. Guess thats not healthy falling out with one of your key players.

He wasnt sending Speed to Sheff Utd. He made him coach and then was about to make him Assitant Manager. Sheff Utd were after Campos and Stelios. He was after punting Stelios down to them.

I dont see why Jewell wouldnt be interested. What else will he be offered anytime soon ? Bolton are still in Europe plus a record of (prior to this ) giving managers time.

I think Sammy Lee was not a long contract anyway. Plus, had a formula that worked and he changed for change sake. It's all very well introducing your own ideas but maybe just ease them in.

Backroom staff been poached and he brought in some of his own people and i think marginalised the likes of Sbraggia (sp?) who is very popular.
