Why sack him now when they could have got rid of him at the start of the international break?
They could even have got a replacement in in these two weeks or at least given the caretaker time to settle in to a greater degree. Silly Boltonians.

It was coming and good they acted now as opposed to letting this drag on. At odds with senior players, bit of a power struggle. Maybe feels betrayed by some of the senior guys but something's not right.
Got to be Paul Jewell. Excellent choice if appointed.

Strange time to go though, would have been better doing it after their last game, would have given em couple of weeks looking at replacements.
Can see them going for a Foreign manager this time round.
Maybe Houllier.
