Why did they ever appoint him? Lot's of managers have bad starts and do well. It's not like Sammy was new to the club and the chairman didn't know what he was in for.
Very strange and Bolton have lost themselves a lot of time

They knew he was a decent technical coach and was popular with people around the club and the majority of players, but they’ve been amazed just how badly he’s handled the man management side of things…falling out with people all over the place and horribly out of his place. Gartside has been saying very different things in private over the last couple of months.
