Hopefully not.

Play Neville at right back, Jagielka in the centre of midfield with Arteta and Pienaar and Osman on the wings.

Arteta can play in the middle in European games as he has more time. He'll be able to influence the game far more than stuck on the wing.
Leon was pretty good through the middle against those horrible bastards across the park, I'd like to see him there again. We can always switch if we need to. </BLOCKQUOTE>

He was pretty awful in Kharkiv though.

Arteta's move there changed the game.

Couldn`t get on OTF tonight, so never posted. Lovely 2nd goal for Everton. The Larisa goal was a gift from Lescott/Howard. We look very shakey since they scored.

Big Vic so good against tired defenders in stretched games.

Anichebe looked very impressive and Osman's goal was the result of some fine passing and quick play. Very decent. Howard and Lescotts muck up just hilarious.

Bloody OTF leaving my match thread all alone

Anyway, another attempt to snatch ropey heart-stopping ridiculousness from the jaws of a comfortable game, but we got there in the end. Tommy was back to his erratic best, Tim looked good and that second goal was simply fantastic.

Vic the ultimate impact super sub.

I wondered what had happened to Andy van der Meyde until tonight. It was good to see him make a return to the Everton side, even if he has been eaten by Graveson.
