Been to see this with one of my clients, this afternoon. Not having seen the previous two films, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. However I did quite enjoy it, though the ending did seem quite hurried. The ending also leaves it open for another in the series, I imagine.
Are the previous two efforts worth checking out ? I imagine it should pad the story out for me, if I do get around to seeing them.
Oh - and Milla Jovovich has lovely eyes. :cool: :thup:

Milla Jovovich and Oded Fehr the only redeeming qualities of any of these movies. Third one is laughably bad, easily the worst of the bunch, which is really saying something.

First one was pretty good actually. The second was alright, not too bad!
But trust me, I was so disappointed after Extinction. Although like OP said, they do leave possibility of a sequel.
R.E: Extinction seemed rather slow and then suddenly hurried in the end. Loved the 'lots of' Milla Jovovich's in the end

even though the 2nd and 3rd are extremely poor, i still like them. mainly because resident evil is my "stand out" game, and the game i enjoyed playing the most from my teens.
will definitely be atleast 1 more film to tie up the wesker story.

yeah i want to go see this despite knowing that the first one was rubbish and the second one was worse, not sure how that works. might just play re4 instead, or as well. re4 SO good.
