yes but wouldn't it have to be split evenly between the 2 teams playing? so they would have to make 6mil net profit.

If the NFL can bring two teams and their coaching staff over here in the middle of the season, equip Wembley for NFL and sell it out for the transatlantic equivilent of Bolton v Man City then it could easily be done the other way. The time difference being how it is, you could play it in the afternoon and it'd be on tv here in the evening.

The money isn't an issue at all, they'll be able to charge loads more than they usually do simply because it's a one off.

And then in a few years China.

It's already an international league, in playing staff and in who watches it. Foreign TV money is probably more important than domestic money to the modern league, and international viewing figures easily exceed the couple of million who watch on sky in this country. Frankly, it'd be odd if they didn't make the natural progression and play a game abroad at some point.

**** the fans, there's money to be made.

Is that unlikely though? I don't think so.

Oh and Michael Moore isn't great.

we can only really speculate about the costs because we don't know how much it would cost to put it all together.

The NFL are said to making a loss over their match on Sunday at Wembley (live on the Beeb too), while the RFL made as stinking loss on Millennium Magic last season. They are talking about it in terms of legacy though and raising profile for their games. In that respect, do the Premiership/FA really need to do that?

Well it depends on demand of course. To be honest i've heard next to nothing about the NFL match here and no-one I knows is fussed either - So i'm not sure if it's capturing the attention of those who don't care about the NFL already.

Whether that would be the case if a PL match was hosted in the US I don't know - so maybe it would be more successful.

I think the problem with the NFL this week is because the players don't arrive until Friday so the press don't have a chance to see the players, we have to make do with the cheerleaders at Selhurst Park
