Konami should have him as commentator for PES tbh.

infinitely preferable as a co-comm to Lawrenson, who just sits there for 90 minutes trying to think up witty comments ... then laughing at his own incredibly crap joke for the next couple of minutes.
before stating the obvious a couple of times.
then repeat.

Still better than Gray. Would rather hear someone mis-pronounce names than toss themselves off over Gerrard for 90mins (or cry when he gets subbed).

ITV should just sack everyone involved in anything they've ever done and hire Desailly and Leonardo.
Any channel that makes Desailly and Leonardo their regular, in studio, pundits is onto a winner imo.
