Finneys another rugby fan with an inferiority complex towards football.

Just about every rugby fan I've met has felt a pressing need to tell me that it's better than football... and the weak reasons why.

Huh?? No rugby is not the no. 1 football code in Aus. A.F.L. Australian Rules Football is the bomb... Im takling about AFL. Im not saying AFL is better than football, i was just saying that someone like Jens Lehmann wouldnt be tolerated here and i was wondering what people thaought about players like Jens who seem to play for themselves and not the team... </BLOCKQUOTE>

Yeah Union's good...can't stand league, Its just British Bulldogs with a ball. But yeah Rugby Union is quality. I would love to see football (soccer) take off here like it has elsewhere, but we have already established codes here, and too small a population for it to take off as well...

I have no interest in party politics. This post had nothing to do with politics...They're all the same rubbish...Two puppets being manipulated by the one person (James Packer). You sound like one of those self-righteous twats who jump on the Kevin Rudd and labor bandwagon and think they're cool because they stand for everything that Howard's against. I bet you're best pals with Bono...I hope you save the world soon ass squat...

I don't have any compulsion to do so - football has nothing to prove to anyone - which was the whole point of my post.

I enjoy football - that's all it is. I'm indifferent towards rugby.
