I have never heard Reina called the best in the world, I have never heard Lehmann called the best in the world... or even Premiership ffs.

At most, I've heard "amongst the best".

With Lehmann that's always punctuated with "...still dodgy with crosses".

p.s. check the epl keeper thread. just about every single scouser who posts rates reina as the second best keeper in the league.

Pretty much anyone with half a clue will tell you Jens was awesome that season.

He was also fantastic in the unbeaten season but that rarely gets a mention.

Id love to know who these commentators are, most of them seem to spend their time talking about him reacting to players standing near him at corners, Ive certainly never heard one describe him as a world beater.
