Default What's the "saddest" FM thing youve done?

I heard that someone on another forum put a suit on for cup final day in FM

mine personally is thinking up my own team talk whilst 2-0 down in the champions league final as Liverpool, and writing it down in word

whats yours?

also i used to run leagues back in school. Id print off squad info on a team they pick, (about 8 mates) and they'd pick the team and do transfers etc, then at weekends i'd play 5 league games each and give them results and stuff on monday and collect the starting line ups and tactics off them on friday.

It was good fun and a season would last 8 weeks.

Does that count?

I used to do a paper round on a Saturday morning, and it was well boring so I used to conduct interviews in my head and tried to imagine some of the goals I had scored (I had to imagine what players looked like). The FaceGen feature means that is no more!

haha I remember doing that. I was one of the first at primary school to get access to the internet (though it wasn't mine) and I convinced a few mates I could sign us up to an online league. We'd all negotiate deals with each other then I told them I'd put the results into the system.

Needless to say I just plucked the results out of my arse, making sure all my mates did well, but obviously not as well as me. In addition, there was always someone who considered himself to be a smartarse if he got a good result so I made his side as inconsistent as hell.

By the end they had mostly twigged on but carried on 'playing' anyway because we felt so powerful just throwing millions about - "Buy Bergkamp for £20m?" - "Nah, £10m plus Yorke" - "Done".

Happy days
