Bolton v Aston Villa
Reebok stadium
Sunday, 28 October
Kick-off: 1330 GMT
Coverage on the BBC Sport website, BBC Radio Five Live & highlights on Match of the Day.
New Bolton manager Gary Megson will turn to the club's coaching staff for help in picking his first team.
But he will have to make do without injured trio Christian Wilhelmsson, Jlloyd Samuel and Ricardo Vaz Te.
Villa midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker and goalkeeper Scott Carson are suspended for the trip to the Reebok Stadium.
Stuart Taylor and Thomas Sorensen are vying to stand in for Carson, while Stiliyan Petrov and Isaiah Osbourne are in contention to come in for Reo-Coker.

Bolton manager Gary Megson:
"I have met the players. There is a quiet determination to get us out of this position.
"Maybe we have not been getting the results we should have with the quality that is available here.
"I do not want to make massive changes, certainly not straight away."
#
Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill:
"The exertions of international matches can take their toll.
"Nigel Reo-Coker had no time off in the summer. We had a chance last week to give him a week's break.
"You have to keep an eye on people like Gabriel Agbonlahor and Ashley Young. If opportunities arise where we might be able to give them a break, then great."
so, megson's first game in charge, and right into the deep end as the next 3 games are pretty important as we need a win or two somewhere before facing liverpool and man utd in succession
tough game though today, villa are an improving side with ashley young and gabby agbonlahor likely cause our defence all kinds of problems with their pace
heart says 1-0 home win with gavin mccann scoring a late winner, head says otherwise

for villa, we need to bounce back from losing to United, got a couple of suspensions mind, whilst thinking, "Megson - haha we'll win" I'm fearing a loss, new man syndrome and all that cobblers. We need to win it though. Will probably lose now.

I'm presuming ss1 = Sky Sports not Setanta Sports?
New manager syndrome to happen here. Bolton to take the lead through El Hadji Diouf, but Villa to score three goals in quick succession in the 2nd half, through Gardner, Laursen and Agbonlahor.

This whole business of Megson going to Leicester and then to Bolton within weeks just astounds me. I cant believe any club would want him in the first place, nevermind a decent Championship side and then a premier league team
