last season we were undoubtedly thought of as the "5th team" in the premiership but with the emergence of Man City, Villa, Blackburn and Everton. Co-insiding with us being dismal we are now thought of and rightly so imo, as not the "5th team" anymore.

We really have struggled, we have had chances to win games, we could of easily put Arsenal to bed when Dimitar missed a virtual open goal at 1-0 up. Penalty decisions away at Old Trafford. Conceding last minute goals against Liverpool, Fulham, Sunderland and Bolton.

What once was a seemingly good keeper has officially turned into the worst keeper in the premiership, our captain hasn't been playing, Dawson looks terrible this year after being great for nearly all of last season, starting our season off with Gardner and Rocha at CB, 4th and 5th choice CB's, having all 3 LB's out injured for the first few games.

These are all things that have contributed to Jol losing his job and they are not really excuses because we just haven't been good enough, things haven't gone our way and just making the wrong decisions at the wrong time.

I don't doubt that you know him better than me, but every single time he's played against Newcastle he's been shockingly bad.

King makes him look OK, but without King next to him his lack of pace is exposed repeatedly.

Nah, there was a pretty strong case for him being our player of the season last year, and that was mostly without King. Shame he's been so diabolical this year though.

I don't know, we were dismal defensively last year and he played with 6 different partners at CB and it just looked like to me that he was the only one out of it all that really played well at the back throughout the whole season.
