I used to play off 12, but havent played regular for about 8 years.

I`m a head greenkeeper, so if any of you want to know why your headgreenkeeper is making a mess of your course, I`ll do my best to tell you

if you believe in me bling, I'll redouble my efforts. <3

I always seem to have a different area of my game let me down every time I play. The one thing that is consistently good with me is my touch around the greens, pitching and chipping. My teeshots are improving since I bought a new driver and rescue club, I probably need to work most on my long irons, though my putting can go from not bad to shambolic and back again. I lose track of the rounds that have been ruined by taking 4 putts on 3-4 holes.

How tall are you? I'm 6'5'' and when I was fitted for my Pings I wound up getting shafts 1.5 inches longer than normal. It made a big difference from using my older clubs (for normal, 5'10'' type people) I'd had since I was 12-13. I no longer had to crouch down to hit the short irons.

something I RULE at. my drives have the perfect flight. really taking off.

I just try to concentrate on 'sweeping' the ball off the tee, as efficiently as possible. don't try to hit it up - the angle on the club will do that if you hit it right, getting backspin on the ball which will make it 'climb' through the air.

much easier to describe than to type

6"4. im guessing ill have to get custom made clubs which will cost a fortune and im not sure i can justify it at the moment so will have to perserve with the crap i have available until i think its worth me investing.

@ OP - www.14clubs.com

Been playing for about a year now, only 9 holes courses, might try 18 soon. Also might try and get a lesson with a PRO and see if he can teach me anything

I've only played a few times this year so far because of the sheer pressure of the last few months.

However, I'm pretty good. Best bet is to get a few private lessons or get a mate to give you some basic pointers. Once I had my grip and my stance sorted I was cutting 20 shots off each round.

Don't worry about distance, just try and hit it straight.

KEEEEANNOOOOOO.

why play golf when knocking around a bucket of balls at a driving range is so much more satisfying?
