I felt old last night when I got out Donkey Kong Country on the SNES. It say 'Nintendo 1994' on the title screen. Doesn't seem like 5 minutes ago ffs! 13 years! |

For some reason I still think of 1997 as 'not that long ago, really'. Then the other day I realised it was 10 years ago. ****.

5 years ago - just started 'studying' for my MA, so no doubt just playing CM01/02 and going to the odd Lancaster City game
10 years ago - in Year 12, just started Saturday job at Currys which I ended up doing off and on for about six years

Rep Power: 0 | 5 years ago: started a mechanics course at college, cracking time on an easy enjoyable course (shame the next level wasn't running at the time) & had a **** easy job 10 years: in school, year 9 i think-
**** school, **** teachers, **** time
it really is fun starting your maths SAT with the previous 2 years consisting of teachers just covering the lesson & not actually teaching because your original one left after abuse for shoplifting bacon and wasn't replaced.
also added mirth when the head of learning support is a bigot resembling a less likeable Prof. Slughorn
