Leeds is fffffb.
What kind of 'scene' are you looking for? Are you into the cheesey same old clubs that they have in every city or something different? I may be able to point you in the right direction.

i should prob say, a banging trance club isnt a must, but if we stumble accross a dancey place, then its all good i suppose, basically, just a good night out with decent birds who will be up for the craic |

The Marriot is pretty central and looks pretty decent but can't imagine it being cheap

Ah right, well I dont know that much about the more commercial side of it, im more into the underground stuff. I guess Oceania is the club that everyone go's to but its a place that Ive never been. You'll probably also need a ticket with it being NYE.

is neville street central to the clubs/bars?
yeah russ my mate told me about the oceania club, said it seems pretty popular.
i checked the hilton, its working out at €175 each for the 3 night stay.
the etap, which is on crowne point road, works out €75 each for the 3 nights.
now i think we just need summat thats got a shower, bed and toilet, nothing fancy, dont think the lads are on for that though.

Etap is very cheap but very basic indeed. Pretty cramped rooms. It's fine if you are just gonna be sleeping there a few hours. If you are there for a day or two I would suggest Jury's Inn. Location is slightly better, rooms much better and price is still reasonable. Travelodge is a very central location too on Vicar Lane and it's usually cheapish.
Loads of nice bars around Leeds, quite spread out but still good. Greek Street is where we usually go and the Electric Press just nearby.
