cba with them. Think I was forever scarred when my dad used to get us for weekends and take us to the club and sit us down on a table with a pint of coke to share between three of us while he played cards with his mates.
Only ever showed horse racing on the big screen as well. I wanted to watch Terrahwaks ffs.
I a brew member of Morgan Street Brewery here in St. Louis...it gets me and anyone with me in the VIP section free but they won't give me free beer anymore unless its a new brew
And Jim Edmonds (centerfielder for st.louis cardinals) just opened up a new restaurant called "15". The night club section of it opens this Saturday and I'm perma-VIP member
Hopefully the nightclub part is better than the restaurant...the only non sport related famous person to eat there so far is some ancient midget who was in the original Wizard of Oz movie...think he had a steak.
I used to play sunday league for a team who were sponsored by a club like this. We would go back to the club after playing and they'd make us lunch. Thing is, the people were lovely, it was a nice atmosphere and everything, but it just feels a little odd. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it's a little like a place where people choose to get old, y'know?
