| £12 a year, so really reasonable. Three of us regularly go up there, and a round (1 Stella, 1 Bulmers, 1 50ml Malibu & Cranberry) costs £5.15. In the pub, the same round costs about £8.75ish)

If you ditch the Malibu & Cranberry guy it's even cheaper. He doesnt deserve to drink. If it's a girl then, well, it's still an odd choice tbh but fair enough |

When we went out for my leaving do, my (female) former boss refused to buy it on the grounds of it being 'far too girly'. She had to make do with a pint |

A boss to be proud of. Aside from Pina Colada's, which are vile, i dont see the point of Malibu. My Mum doesnt drink but i remember when i was younger she used to have the odd Malibu Pineapple. I think it's drinking for girls that dont really like drinking

There is a local members type club in my village.
Not a member but i've been in a few times. Mainly with my mums uncle on Christmas eve before we <STRIKE>wander</STRIKE> stagger across the road for midnight mass.
If i joined i'd probably bring the average age of the clientèle down by a fair few years

Someone mention members clubs?
Haha, um our clubs not a members club but we are the nearest thing to being one, we run a loyalty card scheme, basically the same but still allows people to use the place like a pub and not have to be signed in etc etc.
The breweries who deal with us do so as a members club so we are able to offer cheap prices, a good enviroment with entertainment and trips etc etc like other clubs run.
<pre class="ip-ubbcode-code-pre">Draught Prices Pint/HalfCarling Cold£1.66/£0.83Fosters Chilled£1.60/£0.80Kronenberg£1.66/£0.83JS Smooth£1.46/£0.73JS Magnet£1.70/£0.85Worthingtons£1.30/£0.65Bass Scotch£1.32/£0.66Guiness£2.08/£1.04Bulmers£1.80/£0.90</pre>
We dont own the club its owned by Corus, but as of Jan 1st we are running it on a long term lease. So yeah i am pretty much all 3, owner (with wife) runner and worker.
Our loyalty cards are £2 for a single person and £3.50 for a couple.
2 times a year we have a loyalty card night where holders get in free (normal sat night entrance is £1) and they get £3 worth of drinks each free.
Also having one means its a £1 on a sat rather than £1.50
Club runs trips also that are subsidised for card holders and kids events.
Christmas raffle has been bought, lots of electronics, booze etc etc think its worth £1k
We also run the Corus Teesside lottery from our place and the christmas draw is worth a total of £15k (loyalty card holders can be part of this lottery so thats another perk)
£10k first prize, £1.5k second and 10 £150 prizes + 10 hampers worth £250 each.
Working men clubs FTW
