Firstly its funny for those who know who shwan is...this is the guy who makes the best patches, updates to match engine etc etc for fifam. I would have loved to respond to this 'challenge' but a mod locked the thread before I could
I enjoy Fifam but can never get even close to as involved in it as with FM. Their stadium creation, personal life feature and the 3d match engine are all quite enjoyable.
I mostly like how he talks bad about the FM transfer system and bugs...FIFAM07 was nothing but bugs and about the weakest transfer system I can recall. Their entire player database is not even 1/4 of FM's and world class players end up requesting wages in the region of 200k per week which means they refuse to sign any contract until theirs runs out and they all end up on the same handful of teams.
He mentions the bug for ManU where they play rooney as a winger, but doesn't mention at all the FIFAM07 bug where Barcelona would sit Ronaldinho ON THE BENCH for the entire life of the game and never play him once.
I just needed to vent a bit I enjoy both games but FM08 is terrific and that thread just stung a bit that anyone could be so narrow minded and idiotic, let alone the shwan who is the biggest in their (small) community.
I just through quotes like this from shwan were pretty funny:
"FM allaready are behinde game like FIFAM and CM regarding players wages and contract, i put many screenhsot of player signed for 500k a week for next 256 years !! that happens in FM SI which u calim are better than FIFAM m8
same apply for transfer, rooeny for 120m£ !!"
If quotes like this were coming from just some random guy on their forum, would be a little funny, but coming from the guy that makes all the match updates for their game it's even funnier.
