Bad day for Ajax indeed.

Because of Stam, but also because I heard Man Utd will most likely make a move for Huntelaar in the winter transfer window, and Milan is interested in Stekelenburg and AS Roma in Emanuelson.

Ajax will never let someone move in the winter transfer window at this stage.
But next summer again a lot of players will move. Hunter will leave for sure and probably Heitinga, Maduro and Emanualson.

They will, hopefully, bring at least 1 player(atticking midfielder)

He was a class act, took quite a while for Man U to replace him and even now IMO I don't think Vids and Ferdinand are as good as he was then.

At least he's been honest to himself and his team, many players would be quite happy to keep getting paid for below par performances.
