El opaco rendimiento del brasileño ha sido blanco de crÃ*ticas por parte de la prensa y algunos aficionados en el Camp Nou le silbaron en un partido en el que fue reemplazado por Andrés Iniesta a falta de casi 20 minutos para el final.

"Yo creo que el público está con él y, si no es asÃ*, tendrÃ*a que estarlo por todo lo que ha dado al club", afirmó Messi, citado por la agencia Europa Press. "Para mÃ*, sigue siendo el mejor del mundo y para nosotros es un jugador importantÃ*simo, fundamental dentro del equipo".

"Cuando Ronaldinho rinde es cuando mejor funciona el equipo, ya que da mucha movilidad", sostuvo Messi.

En otro sentido, el argentino afirmó que no piensa en la posibilidad de ser premiado este año con el Balón de Oro y valoró el buen nivel mostrado en la victoria del Lyon tras un flojo arranque en la liga española, marcado por dos empates en tres fechas.

"Tal vez no venÃ*amos jugando bien y este resultado nos indica que éste es el camino a seguir", afirmó. "Si el equipo está bien y con confianza, no tenemos que dudar porque sabemos que podemos llevarnos siempre el triunfo".

Francis, Assulin’s name is correctly spelt on the official site AFAIK but they made a mistake in the dob because he is 16. BTW, Assulin rejected a much better offer from Chelsea to stay at Barça, it’s good to know that he has feelings and isn’t a professional like some Catalan/Barça fan that would play for Real Madrid.

There are several mistakes in the db of the game tbh, mainly regarding accents (Krkić) and common names (Thiago Alcántara isn’t known as Thiago). Dos Santos’s name is Giovani, not Giovanni although it’s a common mistake in the media. I don't want to comment their atributes and their P/CAs...

BTW, Apparently Arsenal are after Juan Carlos Terrón, a 15 yo centre back from Juvenil B. His agent is Joseba DÃ*az, the same agent of the professional one. It’s only a rumour but...



Re the CL game, Barça played well as a unit but some players didn’t play that well, especially Ronaldinho and Henry.

I assume so although Barça never have 25 players, normally 21/22, so it's not a problem.
