Default One for all you London people

Just got myself a couple of tickets to see Arcade Fire at Alexander Palace on 17th of November and I am wondering where would the best place for me to stay in London for easy access to the venue ? and also to do some pre gig sight seeing.

Cheers in advance.

Tis a strange area around there I tell ya. After the Keane gig last year, it was a nightmare getting back to the station - walked feckin miles in the dark - not good!

Alexandra Palace? It's a bit in the middle of nowhere really. There is a mainline train station which is on some obscure suburban route - otherwise it's a fair hike from Wood Green tube.

Trekking through Wood Green in the dark? Hmmm, I wouldn't recommend it...

my girlfriend lives right next to alexandra palace, but I'd still have no idea where you'd stay really. sorry that's totally unhelpful, but ti's just the normal places you'd have to stay really, and just using the tube in general to get around

I think tis is quite an acceptable substitute for it's in that sentence. tis quite underused really. tis as if I'm bringing tis back. right that's enough rant for one spelling mistake
