it wasnt me it was the missus It really was She went to get some stuff out of the boot, opened the boot using the remote locking but didnt open the car and then shut said boot with keys still inside. Its the only way you can physically lock the keys inside and she managed to do it |

| If the car doors were unlocked and i didnt realise i could do this i'd quite possibly be the stupidest person in the world In fact i wouldnt even need to do that, theres a button that opens the boot next to the steering wheel.

Like somebody said earlier, the police don't go out and attend situations where cars are being broken into. It's not going to be hard and fast, but there will be occassions where they've had to be called out to ridiculous non situations like helping somebody get into their car because they've been stupid and locked their keys in the boot, or because some daft drunk scotswoman wants them to go to her place of work to see if her phone is there.
| I understand the resourses issue, here we see the beat bobbies about 5 times a-day. There is a big thing in the area at the minute about the police making an impression locally. So im pretty sure they wouldnt be too over burdened with helping out should time permit of course.
Actually im sure if the police were too busy they would contact the local community wardens and they would assist They seem to do everything the police have no time for here ATM.

Look - just call out his name, and you know wherever he is, he'll come running... to see you again. Winter, spring, summer or fall(!) all you've got to do is call - and he'll be there. Yes he will.
You've got a friend.
