For those who might want this for future reference, the car was deadlocked so he couldnt do the old wire down the side trick. Instead he prized open the passenger door by a centimetre or so and slipped down a think metal wire with a hook on the end and latched this onto the window winder thingy. He was then able to wind down the window and reach in and pull the seat back. No lasting damage done to the car either :thup:
