Default Settling Down

What is the feeling on here about the right time about settling down?

I got married at 27, had my first child 9 months later and a second 4 years after that.

I've now been married 7 years, I have a house, a mortgate for about half the value of the house, a fairly settled job with an average wage.

I suppose my life is set now.

i get the impression I'm a lot earlier than the norm nowadays, but 20 years ago I would have been late.

Opinions?

what a silly question.

when you're ready.

unless you're indian, then when your parents find a suitable family to marry you into.

When you find somewhere you'd like to live, and find someone you'd like to live with maybe? Not sure why age should be a factor unless you have some issue with your age.

Im nearly 23, girlfriend is 21 early next year. We've been had our own place for a year now.

No idea on kids yet, engagement probably not too far away though.

how can "opinions" be a silly question?

I can't really see myself settling down anytime soon. Would imagine probably around 35 (ish) would be a good time for me but would all depend on if I had found the right partner and my financial state.

you're asking what is the right age to be settling down. It's like asking people what the right age is to stop smoking, or start having anal sex.

It's completely subjective. If you asked 'what age did you lot settle down with your partners?', it'd made a lot more sense.

I'm 22 and don't ant to setlle down for the next 15 years or so. I don't like kids, and tbh I like my life as it is now- I have my own place to live so I've got all the freedom I need
