if the thought of those things "gutted" me/allstargyp then we'd not be settled down in the first place

what a silly question.

when you're ready.

unless you're indian, then when your parents find a suitable family to marry you into.
how can "opinions" be a silly question? </BLOCKQUOTE>

you're asking what is the right age to be settling down. It's like asking people what the right age is to stop smoking, or start having anal sex.

It's completely subjective. If you asked 'what age did you lot settle down with your partners?', it'd made a lot more sense. </BLOCKQUOTE>

I didn't ask that at all.

What age is the norm for settling down according to OTF?

Happy?

Sure age is a factor, and it doesn't have to be yourself who has an issue with it but society. It's all fine and swell to take the high ground and say you don't care what anybody else thinks, but it's just not very practical.

Eh? Practical? It's your life ffs, you do what you want to do, when you want to. I don't care what society thinks, and that's got bugger all to do with taking any high ground, it's simply not their business if/when I choose to settle down.

I dont see why age makes a difference - you're ready when you're ready. Im fortunate enough to have everything I want at this age, some people are 20 years older than me and are nowhere near settled.

It happens when it happens - there's no guide to how to make it happen quicker.

28 - with no partner or anything near atm.

Have a fairly well paid job for this part of the country - but still not enough to move out into a place of my own as of yet.

However I enjoy having the spare cash (pay rent for a room here in the family home) meaning I can travel and see a lot more of Europe and such.

I've settled down repeatedly only to then unsettle so any answer I give may change and so is pointless. 35 is my current answer.
