But that's very unlikely. If we fail to host it (which won't happen), then the USA or maybe Canada will be selected to host the tournament.

FIFA want us to use 12 stadiums, but we want to use 18 stadiums, so most states will host games.

If he meant to say Argentina will win it, I doubt, they almost never beat us here (and we almost never beat them there). |

The WC is in 7 years, nobody expect us to decide which stadiums will be used so soon.
And since we are a large country, it's a lot harder for us to select which stadiums will be used.

"The task was not easy - for us it was a real big challenge to have the same list of requirements and the same conditions for only one candidate than if we had two and perhaps we put the bar higher than if we had two," said Blatter.
| Sepp and the brainteaser of who to give the Finals to when there is one choice
incidentally, I know England wants the 2018 WC, but surely someone like Spain who had the 82 World Cup and haven't had a big event in their country since the Barca Olympics in 1992 would be a more deserving case - if you want to keep it in Europe I mean. Germany had 2006 WC, France had the 98 WC, Portugal Euro 2004, Spain has had practically nothing compared to England with Euro 96, the Commonwealth Games, the Olympics in 2012?
just think it's a bit greedy when Spain has hardly had anything, although you do have countries like Australia/US who can say the same, but if you want to keep it in Europe I mean |
