Hello guys, not all that down with the ipods these days, well i've got a 30gb black video thing and have had it for 6months-ish.

All of a sudden i turn it on today and it tells me restore it. So i do that with itunes etc, and i connect it back in when its finished. I then get the message saying theres a problem and it needs restoring so i do that again and it just keeps saying it.

I was wondering what the hell i have to do? i can't take it back to the shop as i have lost the box and the reciept etc, the ipod still turns on it just wont let me sync songs to it any help would be absolutly dashing guys :thup:

how can it just work? when its not letting me put songs on it its wiped them all off and still saying i have a problem with it

have you checked the apple website for troubleshooting?

Mine did this, found out the hard drive was buggered. Out of warranty and more expesive to get it repaired than buy a new one.

Smashed it up, made me feel better.

I know this doesn't help you, but still.
