Going to see Miami @ Orlando on the 24th of November whilst im on holiday with the family, taking my steo son along as well.

Should be fun, or it better be.

What should i expect? How early should i get to the stadium before the game? Do American NBA crowds do as English footy ones do? Sing, mock, swear etc etc. OR is it sit and clap and say "well done old chap etc etc"?

I'd love to be in the front row of a basketball game. Shouting random abuse at the nearby players would be awesome.

It's a pretty cool stadium in orlando.
They also have Ice Hockey and indoor grid Iron there.

Lots of singing and waving of foam hands required, as is a bladder like a camels in regards to the amount of light beer you'll drink during the game.
Not much happens before the basketball, but if you're driving getting there early helps as the parking is pretty rubbish.

If you're staying in the Orlando area I can heartily recommend doing two things:

1. Go to Universal Studios Islands of Adventure
2. Go to Millennium Mall (you can let the missus go shopping whilst you sup a few beer in the Blue Martini bar). You'll thank me for this second tip once you've been there. :cool:

You'll enjoy it, but it's nothing like a football match. Mostly geared towards kids' entertainment, with arcades and things like that. Half-time shows are really cool though - always have some amusing acts (circus style). Expect loads of hot women as well (sitting in the front rows).

We have 2 week disney tickets so no universal this year, prolly hit that up when we go again in early 09.
The mall thing we will be doing though, my mothers coming on this holiday with us, as she hasnt been to the US before and its now or never. So shopping will be big.
How fars the Milenium mall from International drive?
