Hmmmm....Fowler has been a rumour for ages. I don't see it. I also think he has never really performed except in a Liverpool short so I wouldn't be as over the moon as you guys are.

Kevin Lisbie is a target for Reading I think so it looks like we won't get him, which is a good thing.

I've decided I'd actually like DJ more than Fowler and I think it is important that we do now get Celmence seeing as Boro are know favourites to sign Hendrie.

Leicester look set to land a £2m double swoop to sign Stephen Clemence and DJ Campbell from Birmingham. (Daily Star)

I hope this is true, I really want both players now and I think we have done well to get them both for £2 million. Clemence was one of the best players in the Championship last season and DJ can bag goals.

This is a great signing and for £750k a great deal. (Next 48 hours)

Hope we get DJ Campbell now then we have the strikeforce sorted.

Clemence would be a decent signing but from what I've read (Birmingham official site), a fee has yet to be agreed. Everything is looking geared towards playing with hard working central midfielders and extremely pacey winger, assuming Kae'bi plays there.

I'd rather not sign DJ if it meant we had to offload Fryatt, it should be a big season for Matty this year

Yeah I read something different from a Birmingham newspaper had sadi that the fee hasn't yet been agreed but was set for a medical at Leicester today :thup:

Yeah me too if signing Campbell means we have to sell Fryatt then I'd rather not.

Clemence sounds like the leader we've been crying out for, and I'm happy he'd be made club captain, if it's true. I'd also leave DJ Campbell well alone if Birmingham are demanding about £2m for him.

I'd be happy if Fowler signed as he has a lot of quality, experience to be passed on, and he can finish. My only question marks are over his motivation which has always appeared to be lacking away from Liverpool.
