Working 5-10pm Mon-Friday is more than enough for this job. If I had a job I loved though I'd happy to 12 hour shifts. Reckon the idea of too much work is maybe a mental thing.

I'd never survive doing more than 40 hours a week. There's too much fun stuff to get through. I mean I love my job but I need to live my life too.
I only really know one guy who works in finance and while he is loaded he's a complete mess. We're the same age but put us side by side and he looks about ten years older than me.
I look at his £100k+ a year and then look at him and think nah, it ain't worth it. Would be rubbish at anything financial/managerial anyway.

I'm in most days before 7.30am and after my last appointment I'm usually home by 8pm.

Im an accountant and my hours arent too bad - generally in work for 8am and leave by 6. Only a 20 minute drive home too which helps. Occasionally i do 70 hours weeks but get paid overtime so dont mind as its not a regular thing. The whole stupid hour thing is whats putting me off working in London atm, but i know it will happen one day......

I tend to do 11-12 hour days, plus weekend fixtures and a a couple more hours at the weekend on the website. Plus I tend to work for most of the school holidays too. I get pretty well for a teacher at my level though, plus I enjoy the job.

i do about 35-40 hrs a week and thats enough for me.
i even changed job description from a dentist to a dental ceramist and even though its less money, its more rewarding for myself.
im not earning a huge amount of money, but i never wanted to, i just want to have a life balance, and enjoy my work, if i was otherwise ill be working long hrs and chargi9nfg patients lots of money but its just not me.

Haha. I work 08:00 - 16:00, have an hour for lunch and two 20-30 minute coffee breaks and get £28.5k a year, rising to £31k next year.

Leave home at 6.50am, work 8.30am - 6pm, home at 7.15pm. And get paid peanuts. Tbf, they get what they pay for though I do the bare minimum of work and spend most my day on the internet
