LCD tv... any good?

I'm looking to buy a 32 inch LCD tv, and i quite like the look of this one. Its to watch tv on (obviously) and to play the xbox 360 on in high def.

My mate said its rubbish. Thoughts please?

I'd tend to agree with him. TV's are one thing you really need a big brand name for.

Not necessarily. I have a 32" Orion HDTV from Curry's and the picture for the 360 is just as good as my mates Samsung.

Do shop around though as there are a few 'budget' telly's that should be avoided.

Don't go to Currys. A rip off. I bought from RGB direct. Call them up and quote the internet price.

LCD TV's today are generally manufactured by just 4-5 different companies, then they are sold to other brands who use their technologies etc. before they sell them on.
So all brands generally have good tv's and bad tv's.
