whs - well about the world cup anyway. the usual mongfest but x100000 because its in out own back yard.
I actually wanted the Olympics. I got caught in the hype, backed the bid etc. The lead up to the results and then the announcement and everyone going mental in trafalger square and the french crying on bbc news it was great. Now i couldnt give a monkeys about them, i think the battle to host the olympics will end up being the most interesting bit about the whole thing

Nah, think back to Euro 96. It was headlines consisting of sack Venables, drop Shearer, pick Steve Stone, etc, etc, etc. Nothing new then.

I'm looking forward to the Olympics come 2012 and if Bliss Seeker comes in and slags it off, it means I can have his flat for the duration of the Games.

I don't really remember Euro 96 being a mongfest, but I suspect the WC will be a fair bit.

Mongfests not really that hard to ignore in all honesty, i've always considered it a bizarre excuse to be against something.
