Ring them and ask for the money back. Tell them you want to cancel it as it's taken too long and you'll look elsewhere.
You should get to someone that can give you free stuff in this way

Having said that, if you phone them up and moan a lot they'll probably cancel the delivery charge or send you some vouchers or something.

I dont think there is anything legal you can do but just hope they are reasonable in they wasted alot of your time and provided a poor service. Have to make some noise so they know this though

Only other place we have seen the cooker is Asda (and im Dad works there ) but again its a 5 week delivery job so keeping this order will be quicker

Yeah cheers will probably try and get something knocked off it. Its not really Argos fault its the suppliers who ship it to them. But our contract is with Argos so will try moaning to them

dont tell them that. Or do but use it to highlight how disappointed in them you are. You EVEN prepared to wait another 5 weeks to get it from someone else kinda thing

Keep it sensible. Inconvenienced the family, had to eat out more aside from the fact you expected better service from someone like that + not been kept informed, you been chasing them about it. No guarantee of next 15 days either, cant believe what they told you. How can the situation got to this ? If they didnt have the stock why not tell you when you brought it and you could have decided to buy or not.
