Myself and a mate are going to Florida next year and will both be driving the hire car. I understand we have to produce our passport and drivers licences when we arrive but will we both have to present a credit card or will one be enough? Basically I have a card and he does not. Also I believe they make some sort of charge onto it whilst you are hiring it, anyone any idea how much that is?
Lastly when you pay at the pump at the petrol station, you press pay at the pump, put your card in and then get fuel right? I did this yesterday but it hasn't charged me yet, I'm hoping it's not something daft like putting your card in afterwards.
One credit card is fine, that person will be the main driver. Then you just pay around $10 to $20 dollars a day for the extra driver, they just need their licence.

Well our insurance covers up to 3 drivers so that should be inclusive anyway. Just the one credit card thing really.
as for the paying at the pump thing, i've had that nearly all the time when paying at the pump, it always seems to take a fwe days before they take the money, no idea why though.
