At last, Gillingham appoint a new manager - Mark Stimson
After eight weeks of Iffy Onuora, the Gills have finally appointed Mark Stimson as their new manager. The former Grays and Stevenage boss comes on a three year contract.
His teams in the Conference are renowned for playing attactive, attacking football - something that is unheard of at Gillingham. I suspect he is going to be truly shocked at the poor quality of our squad too. Still, so long as he steadies the ship, pulls in the odd away win and keeps up I could not care less. Anyone seen his teams in action
Oh I know there is a League 1 thread, but there are at least two Gills fans on here so it warrants a thread on its own.

At last, Gillingham appoint a new manager - Mark Stimson Post #2
He's been spoken about as the best manager (or one of the best) in non-league for the past 2-3 years, so he comes with a good reputation. It's quite an exciting appointment for the Gills, especially as we have jack-all to spend, a terrible squad and a chairman who is a pain in the rear.
