Macca, you've seen his teams v Woking, right? His teams worth watching? Did he have lots of cash to spend at his clubs?
I saw Grays 3 times under him against us and they were impressive every time. They always played pretty impressive football and were generally renowned as the best attacking side in the league. After he ditched them for Boro he had a shocking start but this season they've been very impressive, again playing very good football by many accounts.

With regards to the cash, Grays was a difficult one to judge. They had a chairman who must have put a lot of money into the team to sustain it and he benefitted a lot from the folding of Hornchurch - they had been bankrolled and he acted quickly to snap up the best of their out of contract players. Stevenage are one of the wealthiest clubs in the Conference so he's had an advantage there.

Remember him playing for Newcastle, don't know much about him as a manager though. Would like to see him succeed and do well though.

Doesn't have to do much to be better than Jepson and Cooper.
