Default Staying up for 30 hours straight, can it be done?

Sadly not a challenge or a fun thread.

For various reasons i woke up at 1am this morning and as such havent been able to get back to sleep. Now i start a 12 hour shift at work come 6pm so by the time i get home tomorrow morning it will have been 30 hours since i last slept.

Is this possible or more likely will i fall asleep at my desk and what options do i have for keeping myself awake?

I stayed awake for 28 hours pretty comfortably when I went to an all night gig. struggled a bit at about 6am but some food and a couple of cups of tea kept me going.

Yep, 30 hours is easy enough, and if you keep yourself fed there'll be no problems.
