| It's very possible IMO. Plenty to eat and drink and actually having something to do (like work ) should see you through it without much fuzz.

I have a very poor sleeping pattern so I'm often awake for more than 30 hours straight.
What tends to happen with me is that I'll sleep for just a few hours (sometimes a few minutes) and then I'll wake up and not be able to sleep again.
This weekend for example, I had around four hours sleep on Friday night, got up for work at 4.30am on Saturday morning, ended up baby-sitting all night, got twenty minutes sleep before football on Sunday morning, had post match drinks, did some DIY before going having to go out for a meal with my gf's parents, and it was after midnight before I went to bed again.
Admittedly that's not 30 hours straight, but it's typical behaviour for me: I had 20 mins sleep after 24 hours of being awake, and then had a busy day ahead of me which lasted another 20 hours.
I've become conditioned to this but it is hard to function sometimes.

30 hrs ain't a problem as long as you have something to do. Some weeks ago I couldn't fall asleep and went to school after being awake for about 28 hours and I went to bed in the evening after I came home which made it more then 40 hours without sleep for me

Simply staying up should be no problem. Getting your work done properly might be more difficult.

I stayed awake for over 40 hours and then passed my motorbike test, with NO minors!. 30 hours is a piece of cake.

Went through a period of doing it every week at uni the night before my essays were due.
Would wake up at 8am on a thursday, hand in my work at 9am with max two hours sleep if I'd been efficient, doss about all friday, go out on Friday night and usually crash and burn at about 1/2am.
So a total of 42 hours without a bit of sleep sometimes.
