Don't know about iconic but I've always has a soft spot for the Danish '86 World Cup side, Laudrup was superb and I remember him ghosting past a bunch of Uruguyans as the Danes hit 6 and the commentator was something like;
"Laudrup, still Laudrup, still Laudrup ... the boy's a genius"
as he rounds the keeper to slide the ball in

Wasn't much of a fan of Brian Moore but he had a couple: It's up for grabs now
"He's gonna flick it, he's gonna flick it" (which I sadly can't find on youtube).

Interesting, Interesting. Very Interesting! (Barry Davies on Franny Lee).
What a save, Gordon Banks.
Probably a couple of belters from murray walker also.

"It's goalless at Macclesfield! Part one of the equation is there! Brighton are surely going to win this 2-0. It's all up to Victoria Park now where Hull lead by a goal to nil.
It's full time at Hull... it's FULL TIME at Hull! - Brighton are Almost there. All we've got to do now is blow his whistle here...
YES YES YES YES!!!!
"What a great year Hawsey, People laugh, they mock you when you support Brighton, but this is worth it. This is worth all the heartache - everything we've been through. The scum that tried to put us out of business, that sold us up the river, where are they now? Whatever stone they've crawled under we don't care"
Andrew Hawes and Ian Hart on one of the best Saturdays of my life :cool: :cool:
