Also in the studio is Sheffield rockabilly Richard Hawley, and there are three Later... debuts, from Reading alt-folk teenager Laura Marling, Tokyo death jazzers Soil and Pimp Sessions and the girl who was named as one of Rolling Stone's New Gods of Guitar, Kaki King. Squeaky southern short arse death jazz fan. Later with Jools has become a rubbish programme in the last few years. Too many sycophantic interviews with awful musicians and rarely a decent new band to be seen, though last series Cold War Kids were good. After my RTA and subsequent rubbish police earlier I'm just in a crappy and angry mood.
