It's been the same for the last three years, so get used to it. Even if they disappear, they will be replaced by the exact same band under a different name.

I don't know who any of the bands in the first post are. Were Lush indie? Lush were really good.

indie/shoegazer. certainly more so than current 'chart indie', which is really just rather bland jangly pop music.
