Very true.

Another one who has a couple of DVDs out is Dave Gorman, although both of his are more fitting jokes into one long story that takes up the entire set, as opposed to telling many different jokes, if that makes any sense.

Very true.

I remember the 'ol Dave Allen show on TV. He was always pretty decent. Never seen his non-commerical stuff. Has he even got any ?

yeah while not a 'stand up' dave goreman is brilliant.

on that note, someone who aint a 'stand up' but is amazing on stage is henry rollins... he simply goes up and rants about whats ****ing him off and it happens to be funny..

seen him live 4 times now and he is getting better and better.

I went to see Stewart Lee at the Edinburgh Festival last year and he was absolutely brilliant. Aside from being ingeniously-written and very funny, he was also making a point after he was sued for blasphemy for making Jerry Springer. Might explain why the last 10 minutes were a story about him vomiting repeatedly into the gaping anus of Christ.
