I never really liked Stewart Lee - the set of his I went to, he just seemes as though he couldn't be arsed to be there. I suppose that could just be his style, but it didn't sit that well with me.

Oh, and if you want to see live stuff, try to see Tim Minchin or Michael McIntyre.

Paramount Comedy festival has just ended/is coming to a close shortly. Had loads of people down here, get it every year. It's awesome. I saw Ross Noble this year.

| Yes, it is his style.
He's the sort of act that won't appeal to a lot of people, but then that's true of most comedy really isn't it?

Another one for Billy Connolly here, have quite a few of his dvd's and his story telling while delivering a good ending to each story is brilliant. Bar that Dave Allen was quite funny from what I remember when my dad used to watch him.

threads about comedy always follow a strict narrative now, which is a shame.
user says the like a comedian
someone else thinks hes gash
another person remarks on how comedy is individual
they then go onto say how no he is gash, still sticking to his point

Dave Allen - haven't seen his stuff for years. But yes, at the time he was brilliant.
